283 - The Journey of Finding Yourself as an Artist with Jamie Drake

283 - The Journey of Finding Yourself as an Artist with Jamie Drake

There’s nothing worse for a creative than feeling like you’re off your path. Do you know that feeling of being ungrounded, untethered and unable to find the pulse of your work? How do you get back on the path and into that pocket of flow, where you’re center? I am a big believer that the creative journey often goes hand and hand with the journey of personal discovery, liberation and breakthrough. This conversation with Jamie Drake is such a beautiful testament to this idea. In 2019, Jamie released her debut album “Everything’s Fine”. This record captures the creative journey so fully, that I was desperate to get her on the show to dive deep into the process of arriving at this gorgeous creative statement. HUGE thanks to Jamie for being so gracious with her time and her story. This conversation is deeply personal and is such a gift to our community! THANK YOU JAMIE! TUNE IN IF YOU’RE: Creatively lost Worried It’s Too Late to Get Started Feeling Like You’re Living Someone Else’s Story Need a Dose of Humanity!!
