Creative Pep Talk is the REAL DEAL!

I’m a fine art painter and mixed media artist of 61. Yes, I’m that demographic but I’d like to think I can still be relevant and have something to say with my art. I stumbled across this podcast over a year ago and quickly gulped up all that I had missed.
Andy Pizza gets to the heart of a creative practice no matter what your art. His intelligent, philosophical and brilliant weaving of the psychology of the creative with actual steps one can take to improve that practice is divine. There are no shortcuts to good art or the journey… that’s “art island”, but there are ways of thinking and being and moving forward and Andy is an excellent guide.
The work and thoughtfulness that goes into this by he and his team is evident. Sometimes if I’m driving I will think, I need to write this down, but then I realize I can access later.
There’s a deep reverence that comes through for artists and creatives of all kinds and that sincerity of purpose is so satisfying in a world that still feels like it doesn’t always honor the gifts of the artist.
