informative but over the top

Andy really provides a lot of good info and advice but his “radio” personality can be too much some times, which is no fault of his own, just something that can be sometimes off putting.

A good podcast to listen to while painting

I've been a listener for a while now and a lot of the content of this podcast resonates with me, especially when Andy J Miller just spills his heart out and does episodes of him just talking.He makes a lot of good points. What made me knock off a star is that with a lot of the interview episodes, a lot of times he talks over the guest speakers and that just creates a very unpleasant listening experience. Other than that its a good show.

Andy has good taste and intuition!

What a gem! I'm so glad I was pointed to this podcast by creative friends! "It really is a pep talk!" they said. "He's funny and helpful and you'll love it," they said. The episode on taste and intution came just when I most needed the confidence building Andy's insight offered. That's what a pep talk is supposed to do! I'm grateful and encouraged. Thank you!

so thankful

i found this podcast at the most perfect time of my life. it has been a source of positivity and inspiration, and a perfect way to start my morning to keep me focused on my artistic and professional goals. i have recommend this podcasts to a number of my friends, and i hope others find it as motivating as i have. i’m so grateful to have found it. :)

Love It

Found this show on a whim and I absolutely love the content. Andy is such a quirky guy and it warms my soul to hear great advice from someone with a similar mindset. For those mentioning the tangents, that’s sort of what I like about the show. It breaks away from the typical bombardment of info that’s become present in a lot of podcasts as of late. It helps to drift a bit, lol. Not to mention, I believe the host has ADHD — and is very upfront about it within the show — so I’d assume tangents come with the territory. Regardless, the show is very insightful and motivating. I’m so glad to have found it. Keep doing what you do, sir!

Best podcast for creatives

I’m currently a 3rd year visual arts and graphic design student, and Andy’s podcast has played an integral part in my personal creative development, providing in-depth concepts, ideas, self exploration techniques and much more. I take notes and engage in his exercises as they are productive actionable steps to enhance my creative potential. Couldn’t recommend more!

I’ve made non creatives listen to this podcast

And they still liked it. It’s hard not to get pumped up when Andy starts talking real effective strategies and then mixes them with great analogies. I’ve used a lot of what he’s taught on the show and am starting my dream job next week (kill the arrival tho, we have much to learn still). Ugh, but then the interviews, Andy is able to pull some great wisdom from the creatives/entrepreneurs he has on the show. I have relistened to quite a few to get all the “nuggets” of wisdom.

EVERYONE would benefit from listening

Mr. Pizza, My entire life I have always struggled with self confidence. I have this deep passion for creating but I’ve never taken the time to try because I was afraid to fail. Thank you for providing clear instructions on how to unlock my gift. I feel like that is something everyone should be taught in school and children should be introduced to at a young age. You changed my life. You gave me a reason to try and even provided clear steps on how to do so. Andy is the bay leaf to my burrito

Honestly, I listen to every episode with an open notebook next to me. He skips the platitudes and provides real and actionable advice. I also catch myself chuckling like a weirdo when I’m listening to it on headphones in public. You can tell he spends so much time really searching for insight and then figuring out a simple way to explain it. Great stuff. Keep up the good fight, Andy.

If you’re a creative/artist, CPT is what you need to fill up you tank. It is inspirational, fun, insightful. I learn something every time and it really pushes me to go deeper and get better. Andy is a fantastic host.

Right place right time.

I was at a place where I felt I needed to listen to some sort of creative inspiration podcast. Didn’t know if that even existed. I typed creative into the search and found this podcast. I decided to listen to it. Talk about being in the right time in my life to find this god sent podcast. It’s a slingshot pushing me into my destiny in life. Andy’s great metaphors and funny jokes inspire me every day. I feel like I’m a Jedi and he’s a Jedi master mentoring me through this podcast. It’s so powerful and honest. Pepperoni Mushroom Motivation

This podcast is a piping hot fresh from the oven mouthful of creative motivation!!! My creative job finds me working at home alone most days and it’s so hard to stay inspired. Since listening to this podcast regularly (I’m listening now) I feel excited to get up and get to work during the day. I love how friendly and loose the format is, it feels like a pal coming over and giving me advice. Please keep making more episodes!
